I always have a lot of projects going on. I’ve been busy visiting the elderly, taking care of Koda who’s had
heart/breathing issues again, preparing for my trip to San Francisco in early August with Bill (we’re both traveling while
we’re still able) and also working on essays lately.
I submitted an essay to PNWA’s Author magazine recently titled, “Don’t Ever Let Anyone Take Away Your Joy in Writing.”
Wish me luck! As they say, “If you don’t try, you’ll never win.”
I also crafted another essay for the Modern Love column in the NY Times. However, it morphed into a longer piece than they
normally publish, so I might enter it instead in the PNWA unpublished writing contest. Right now, it’s undergoing a
developmental edit.
And I’m still working on my new spy thriller which I call “The Sardonic Spy.” It is a story is about a bitter, disillusioned
ex-CIA case officer who learns that the man she thought jilted her still loves her, but he’s an integral part of his wife’s work
to stop the Chinese from dominating the rare earth minerals market.
And, I’ve been busy getting endorsements for my other spy thriller I hope to publish next year, “The Embassy Mole.” It is a
story about an MI-5 agent who discovers a mole in the U.S. Embassy in London who is helping terrorists blow up Buckingham Palace.
I’m also gathering endorsements for my romantic comedy I call “You Said It Would Only Be Temporary.” I’ve been writing this book
since 2008 and have had four different editors. Cha Ching! I may publish it on Valentine’s Day next year. Stay tuned.
Thank you as always for all your kind notes and messages as well as the reviews!
Until next time…
All best,
